RESPONSIBILITIES:

Well Design
•Prepare the number of wells needed to meet the targeted production objectives
•Use well design tools to design wells that meet the targeted production objectives
•Generate three dimensional (3-D) well plots to validate surveys on current wells

Operational Efficiency Optimization
•Optimize operational efficiency to meet internal standards and objectives

Well Performance Evaluation
•Review well and field production performance and recommend workover and/or well services to meet the production objectives
•Assess the recovery from well in order to provide advice on abandonment
•Monitor the field depletion performance of specified fields

Well testing and sampling programs
•Assist in design of MDT, Well testing and sampling programs.
•Assist in the analysis of MDT/TST data.

Planning & Forecasting
•Prepare well plans in line with five year production forecast ensuring these are integrated with the plans of all related functions

Operational Framework

Government Relations
Ensure that effective relationships are maintained with government agencies (MIGAS and BPMIGAS)

Based in Jakarta, you will be responsible for all Technical Support Group (TSG) activities within the Development and Operations group. TSG includes 4 sub-groups which work together in an integrated way to meet Production Operations and Facilities Development targets.

TSG includes:

Facilities Engineering: engineers providing Operational support and Change Management Governance, or supporting FEED or Project Execution phases.
Static Facilities Integrity: ensures Process Safety in terms of corrosion management, structural and pressure containment integrity, inspection and certification of facilities.
Maintenance Systems: responsible for integrating maintenance routines and practices into one, and development of supporting system. Ensures rotating equipment care and maintenance, and develops Independent Verification Body (IVB) systems
Instrument Controls and Electrical integrity : thiensures integrity of electrical and control systems and software.

You will oversee the Technical Authorities Staff assigned to govern and control the safety of equipment, allowing the Production Operations teams onshore and offshore to maximise revenues and operate the plant in a safe manner. Industry recognised codes and standards of engineering and maintenance work are expected to be ensured by the TSG Manager.

Team development and management skills will be tested in this role, through developing existing staff whoto work in a structured formalised way with clear accountabilities and technical authorities. You will also be responsible for forging strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g.BPMIGAS).

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and monitor compliance to policies and procedures for the safe and efficient maintenance of offshore plant and equipment
Define and execute maintenance of SCE’s under the banner of the IVB process using the knowledge and expertise of the Technical Authorities.
Maintain safety and production critical elements (SCE’s) (to a level as determined by the Safety Case), and manage departmental technical authorities
Soliciting budget funds from the Senior Operations Manager and being accountable for delivering agreed scopes of work / projects, within that agreed budget.
Develop contract strategies, and work alongside Contracts and Procurement department to ensure the department fulfils company, BPMIGAS and PTK 007 requirements. Plan and co-ordinate the activities of external contractors and vendors
Ensure facilities are designed, installed, operated and maintained in accordance with all relevant standards including the company’s HSEQ system.
Assist in the design, procure, install and commissioning of capital brown field enhancements as required by the operating assets.
Ensure that all topsides and seabed facilities and pipe lines are developed then operated safely and cost effectively to achieve optimal process performance.

Provide technical support and input to North Sumatra Block A non-operated assets.
