Competency Management Specialist

This Competency Management Specialist will be part of the HR Centre of Excellence, whose role as policy and program owner, is to think strategically and design program that will meet current and future business direction. He/she is responsible to be in charge of employee development programs, including but not limited to:

1. Competency Assessment & Monitoring
2. Training Matrix Development & Monitoring
3. Education Programs
4. Mentoring Program
5. Technical Succession Plan
6. Knowledge Management

He/She is responsible to liaise with department heads and HR Business Partners (HRBP) to partner with them on selecting, managing, monitoring, and evaluating specific talent pool’s competency mapping.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor/ S1 in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, General Management, General Business Management, or Arts (Psychology) degree. A Master degree will be an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years working experience as HR Consultant, and also in HR Training/Development role in multinational company.
  • Ability to lead project effectively and timely by managing multiple and conflicting stakeholders needs.
  • Ability to map problems and strategically develop a structured solution.
  • Tactful, professional, and innovative in solving problems
  • Negotiate with authorities to attain approvals for employee development’s plan, by being professionally persuasive and align with highest ethical standards.
  • To be sensitive to different people with different personalities.
  • Be able to juggle multiple priorities and work multi-tasking.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, have good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Exposure to the Oil and Gas industry / Energy Industry
